Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Technician to maintain and repair vehicles to the highest standards. This is a full-time role based at our dealership in Cornhill, where you will contribute to our reputation for excellent service.

Duties
  • Conduct thorough vehicle inspections, servicing, and repairs according to manufacturer guidelines and company standards.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot vehicle faults efficiently and accurately using your technical expertise.
  • Perform road tests to ensure the effectiveness of repairs and identify any further issues.
  • Ensure all work is completed to a high quality and within the allocated timeframes.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of all inspections, repairs, and services carried out.
  • Work collaboratively with other technicians and service advisors to ensure a smooth workflow.
  • Adhere to all health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and organised workshop environment.
  • Utilise and maintain workshop equipment and tools effectively.
Experience
  • Proven experience working as a Technician in a workshop environment is essential.
  • A relevant qualification in an automotive discipline.
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
  • A full UK Driving Licence.

In this role, you will play a key role in exceeding customer expectations and achieving ambitious sales targets. You will build rapport with customers, identify their needs and budget, and showcase Ewens' extensive range of new and used vehicles, highlighting features and benefits.

You will also conduct test drives, answer customer questions, negotiate competitive sales prices and finance options, process paperwork, and ensure a smooth buying experience for each customer.
